Awww, what a cute snake. (I'm actually quite surprised to find a snake cute)

My snake escaped :c I set up her cage in the centre of the room on the floor, in the vain hopes she'll cozy up to the heat pad in it. I texted my mother asking if she could pick up a small cage and a mouse. I'll use that to lure her out.

I had the idea to use an electric blanket On max to lure her out. If the mouse and me searching in the spot she always goes fails. I'm going to lay out the blanket or ball it up and turn it on max. While cranking up the AC. The room has been sealed off and a sign tapped to The door. I need to buy a proper cage for her..

Luckily she's only in the room. If she was outside the chickens would kill her. I am not joking we have vicious chickens who eat anything.

I am hoping everything is fine and I'll see her cuddling the heater on the side of her cage.

I found her she is safe! Little wiggle worm! Just closed my eyes and went with my gut. Found her instantly. Life is looking good my father cracked open his MSDN license and is helping me out. The cintiq companion needed a new activation key he was able to get one and now we're going to download visual studio and everything we think would be useful. Having a father who had access to such a thing is helpful.

Life is turning around. I feel a burst of creativity and hope like I have never felt before!

I saw a thing on my porch yesterday that looked like a weird green cricket. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be a tiny baby frog.
We saw another frog near the porch last night hanging out near the light, probably munching on insects drawn to the light. I think it is a different one since it was bigger and darker, but someone else insists it is the same one.

Not sure if I mentioned that I saw a lizard hanging out near my potted trees a couple weeks ago. Lizards are common here, but this one was the biggest I have seen here. I think it was bigger than my gecko, Godzilla, I had as a kid (which got lost in the house after my brother broke its terrarium, and I eventually found it dead and gave it a sky burial). I will see if I can identify it. Perhaps it was a salamander our something, if those live here. Unfortunately I only saw its midsection as it ran through the grass before it vanished.

I went and saw some chickens that live down the street to see how their coop was constructed...and to visit the chickens. Although it was late at night they still came out to see me. I need to think about it more and have some discussions with my family before deciding to get chickens here, as we are in the city.

The people that were showing me their chickens invited us over to hang out tonight. I am not really social like that anymore, plus I prefer not to open up to others until after I have known then and interacted with them for a while (the husband from that couple is the same way). To further complete things, at least in my head, the woman is the daughter of my landlord, and hanging out with that family just send odd to me. I only have a few hours to decide. Maybe I should bite the bullet (perhaps with the help of a little alcohol). They also tried to encourage us to buy the house next to theirs ahead we had expressed interest in it (it has a great basement where I could put all my stuff to avoid taking over the main post of the house with disassembled electronics and old hardware, and tons of books). Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome.

long term benefits of such house could be nice. However, i have no idea what your situation is. There's many factors to house buying. i was trying to buy one with the Ex... then reality hit us hard. I dont know. Im not even sure I can offer advice because I don't know who I am anymore or what I think.

Buying a house won't be something we just do. We would prefer to relocate, but there are other things that need to be taken care of first. It will probably be a couple months at least before we look closer at it.

We had a young deer in the garden a week or two back at sunrise. In the end I had to chase it out after it started eating the flowers, although it was just a matter of standing where it could see me and it ran off. I know they've got land in the overgrown dip below our house, and up behind the houses up the road, but they're usually content to eat bramble shoots and things. We also have canada geese coming in the morning, though I've not seen them yet (only their droppings), and plenty of noisy magpies and jackdaws. We've even had decorous jays coming to farm our ants this past week or so while we were only the other side of a window, which is unusual - they're usually very nervous of humans.

Depends if they agree or not.
They both agree that IM not ready for a relationship. A bit of the pot calling the kettle black. I thought it was funny because she cheated on me five times in one night ruining a relationship of four years and an engagement of two. Yet she claims im not ready for a relationship. Soa relationship on trust and loyality, and love.Nope not good. One based upon lust, deceit and lies? Now thats the way its done! (Im so thankful we didnt have any kids..)

On the topic of buying a house... only do it if you're in a relationship. Very few of us are Donald Trump types who are handed a million dollars by their parents, start a business, fire a bunch of people, buy a house, and buy numerous wives after all of that!

Also, nothing weird about hanging out with your landlord (or their family). I lived with my landlord last time I was paying rent... and her daughter, and briefly her son. Couldn't have been a nicer person.
