Where are the old folk of GP32?

Hello there. Long time no see (something like 12 years).

I still have my GP32 and played on it a few months ago. Now enjoying playing on Wiz (amazing little machine).

Glad to see that some of you are still there. :)

I'm still floating around, too :) I was working on a desktop manager for GP32, and trying to get flash games going on Wiz. Don't seem to have as much time as I used to!
I also made a bunch of GP32 avatars way back when that some people were using :) Funny. I've attached those again in case anyone is interested!

My gp32 was my favourite holiday device. It was unlit so played beautifully in bright sunlight. Unfortunately it is another victim of the BSOD (blank screen of death)

I remember coding my spectrum emulator for it and being so happy to get it full speed at 48mhz. It took me back to the good old 8 bit days where efficient coding was a must for good performance.

Kept porting my emulator to newer gph devices and the pandora but as these could happily run emulators such as fuse with better features it kinda got lost in time.

Ah, and ended up coding a native version of the Amiga classic Gravity Force because the gp32 wasn't up to decent Amiga emulation (can't remember if anyone even tried)

Might have to try and pick another one up.

i still play with mine in sunlight.. :) i just made a new topic, im sad, my nlu gp32 has a few vertical lines, i need a broken nlu or flu gp32 with a working lcd screen. thanks for help :(

I've got a Blu+, I bought it new when Craig Rothwell was selling off the last batch of units on eBay many years ago. It came with a custom GP32 stitched Astonishia Story carry case.

I still use it to play PC Engine games with GPEngine (mainly R-TYPE)

I've got the GP2X F100 and F200, but never use them because of the terrible control pads (crap unresponsive stick on F100 and god forbid the unconnected buttons pad of the F200, what idiot came up with that! )

Should have just kept the GP32 shell and uprated the innards, that microswitch joystick is brilliant!
