Is that a joke or you were seriously expecting everyone to buy few SATA adapters just to prove positivity ? As a matter of fact I don't own anything that I can connect to pyra using SATA port so such an adapter doesn't make a sense to me, unless I tear down enclosures of my portable HDD to expose SATA ports.

Of course it is a joke ;)

Just change this Poll title with "Will you buy a Pyra SATA Adapter ?", and we are done.

You mean a mechanical construction like for the Pandora Console adapter?
One issue to take care of is that you can still open the lid. This limits the max. dimensions of the PCB which must accomodate tree connectors and the amplifier chip.
And I have not found an USB3 plug (the one going into the Pyra) which can be vertically mounted to the PCB. Vertical USB2 and SATA sockets are easier to find.
Not familiar with the Pandora Console adapter for some reason, so I can't really answer that first question, its just that my first thought when looking at it was that there was a lot of empty space behind those two sockets, and that it would be nice if they could be physically closer to the unit. I see what you mean about being able to open the lid being a limiting factor there though.
Thanks for the response in any case.

I thought that ED said that he would get one quickly, but without the final packaging.
I've got a few retail units here already (without packaging, etc. though) and would love to send him his unit already - but he's a bit further down the queue.

I think it would be great if I let him SKIP the line - and finish his order right away (sending him packaging and the rest of the experience later on).
Looks like we both remembered correctly...

So what’s going on?
