Assembly restart. Software work. And maybe our next SoC?

If rk3588 is much more attractive than rk3568. I read it's going to be used in a new pine64 board. Is it helpful having another community working with the same SOC?

But please choose the option that is easier to adapt to Pyra. Nobody wants to see the omap15 debacle again (random freezes, screen rotation, ram support).

Well, I guess in the absense of a signed Pyra, one personalised with the hair of the dog will also be pretty special.

Shepherd dogs tend to be very energetic and relatively intelligent, so if he's helping, then I'm certain the rest of the Pyrae will be finished in two shakes of an... Australian Shepherd's tail! (Also thanks to Askarus, of course)

Hi all !

Thank you @EvilDragon for that news post, really interesting :)

I have some questions / remarks:

- will there be a new pre-pre-order process to get that new rk3568 / rk3588 SOC ?
- when do you think the new cases will be available for purchase at your shop ?
- please give Snoopy a hug for me <3

@Asaggynoodle : could you please give (if possible, simple) instructions on how to connect a second heatsink to the backside of the CPU board ?

@hns / @aTc : if you are looking for AESS beta testers, you know where to find me ;)

Cheers, Magic Sam

When i make the Video, on changing the Case Part: How to make it the best way?
And would it look better when i use the real screw drivers, or should i be more bush crafty whit the Victorinox Cybertool Bit Driver?

The Video will be a few Parts, so you can screw the screwing scenes ^^

Deep in der Schwarzwald, in a place only Bavarians know, lies a society with advanced technology. They use their time to assemble Pyra's and pet dogs, and make videos, and sell games, and.... but they also assemble Pyra's! And instead of every 2 months... it's now once a week!

It's time to build Pyra's or chew bubblegum... wait, it's the other way around... nevermind.
Ahh... now I see.. the title should have been "My Pyra takes forever"...

I wonder why where would be a place in the Schwarzwald that only Bavarians know.?

How do you assemble a pet dog? I thought Sony had stopped producing the AIBO, although the linked Wikipedia article is unclear on current availability. Is there a secret Sony factory deep in the Schwarzwald?

I was going a bit for how Wakanda is in Africa, but never has been found, although their citizens know the rest of the world, so they travel in and out. Actually, this year is the year they assemble (pun intended) from all over Germany. In order to do that, they lowered the price of the railway system to just 9 Euro for a full month. Don't believe me? Look at this: https://www.bahn.de/angebot/regio/9-euro-ticket
Yes, assembling Pyra's is that important....
