No...on my linux box i can change every resolution without a crash (16 and 32 bit), but instead on my machine it seems not to register the keys (and yes i try to change it on the options menu), also it seems not to work save the screenshot (with numpad 5). Anyway i built a test with my Pyra...

Yeah i saw and following the recent changes, and i like that Pocak100 is working on it, i'm not a programmer and don't know how to (quickly) solve some of the problem, instead he is capable of coding and solving most of the bug/missing features that the game will require. I'm really looking to...

as @levi said the difference in bytes should came from different line ending of win/linux and i think is not so important (unless some files are corrupted) regarding image files. The important thing to check is the number of files (but they seems to be in equal number ...).

Yes. Maybe brizzly could tell us more about it. Anyway i have found why the game doesn't load the audio files...simply the function to enable audio (and video...) is disabled on the linux source. Take a look at "halloween_linux.cpp" in the lines 813-819 the call of function sys_setVID is...

this is not correct the symbols are not present into the executable.... try adding -g -ggdb after gcc so: gcc -g -ggdb ..... and now you have an exe that is around 1,7Mb (in my compiler)

Well installing a library into a system didn't magically make use of it....you must modify the code to use it. :) I didn't know Soil lib but i think if the original game load TGA files without it...maybe we don't need it...we must find why the original code didn't work. If you have time try to...
