Just amazing! How I love that game. I can't wait to see what else Pyra is capable of with box86, I think box86 will be one of my preferred applications on Pyra. I would love to see prototype owners testing it already, sadly there are more urgent matters to test .
Is there any way to send a tip...
Those videos on raspberry 4 are impressive specially all the indie games. One question: in Pyra we won't get most of it because it has a 32 bit cpu and only openglES. Is this true or those issues are not that relevant?
Don't want to be tedious but I wanted to share this here. Ten years since release and I still was able to get a new LCD cable and a keymat, and people still will ask why we prefer Pyra over other devices.
I checked my order date and although I don't know when I got it exactly it should have been on summer 2010. So, in fact mine is celebrating it's 10th birthday in brief, well it got upgraded to a 1Ghz version at some point.
Anyhow I want to share that this is the piece of electronic I have...
Don't have any preference, both look fine for me. I'm more concerned how well the coating will keep with time, yes ED said that it will be very durable and whatever. Call me skeptic, this is something I need to check by myself.
Thanks a lot for sharing the photos.
My GPD win is developing PTOD like pandora. The LCD flickers and distorts color when I move the hinge.
I can find only GPD win 2 cables on internet. Is it the same for the original GPD win? Does anyone known of a manual or video explaining how to change it?
The A72 on the i.mx8 is really not that powerful compared to the A15 in the actual omap?
It is like two generations ahead the A15. I thought there would be a huge difference. But well, I know nothing about this things.
I installed the core using retroarch, it doesn't say which version is but it's automatically updated.
Just warning you that in a device much more powerful than Pandora not even desmume (much more mature than melonDS) is playable. I don't expect any devs to be encouraged on porting desmume or...
I have been checking melonDS for my gpdwin (since drastic is not available on x86 linux).
MelonDS is not as compatible as drastic and performance is way way worse than drastic. Being a project aimed at x86 don't expect much focus on performance.
Even if possible to port (I'm not the one to...
