    Box86 - Linux Userspace x86 Emulator

Just amazing! How I love that game. I can't wait to see what else Pyra is capable of with box86, I think box86 will be one of my preferred applications on Pyra. I would love to see prototype owners testing it already, sadly there are more urgent matters to test . Is there any way to send a tip...

    Release DraStic Nintendo DS emulator

Can't remember. I'm pretty sure I tested several games but not sure which ones. Sadly mi Win is dead and can't test anything else.

    It's software this time!

I agree. I used mostly the original Pandora case, the one that in fact was almost too small for Pandora. I prefer just a second skin to protect, more than a case with space for accessories.

Glad to hear this. Thanks both for the correction.

    Box86 - Linux Userspace x86 Emulator

Those videos on raspberry 4 are impressive specially all the indie games. One question: in Pyra we won't get most of it because it has a 32 bit cpu and only openglES. Is this true or those issues are not that relevant?

Open Pandora - 10th Year Anniversary

Don't want to be tedious but I wanted to share this here. Ten years since release and I still was able to get a new LCD cable and a keymat, and people still will ask why we prefer Pyra over other devices.

GPD win (first one) LCD cable, where to buy?

Thanks. I checked a couple of videos where they explain how to replace the LCD and how to disassemble the whole thing. I will share here if I found something relevant during the operation.

Open Pandora - 10th Year Anniversary

I checked my order date and although I don't know when I got it exactly it should have been on summer 2010. So, in fact mine is celebrating it's 10th birthday in brief, well it got upgraded to a 1Ghz version at some point. Anyhow I want to share that this is the piece of electronic I have...

    Beauty competition.

Don't have any preference, both look fine for me. I'm more concerned how well the coating will keep with time, yes ED said that it will be very durable and whatever. Call me skeptic, this is something I need to check by myself. Thanks a lot for sharing the photos.

    Release DraStic Nintendo DS emulator

Yep. Yesterday tested latest version from their web and still not playable, I hope it gets better with time. Lucky you! DS emulation is the only thing I miss on the WIN.

    Release DraStic Nintendo DS emulator

Did you got melonDS working decently in the GPD win. Because for me the few games that run did it like a slideshow.

GPD win (first one) LCD cable, where to buy?

Thanks a lot. I just ordered the LCD cable for pandora som edays ago. I didn't know this was a common problem on GPD win also.

GPD win (first one) LCD cable, where to buy?

My GPD win is developing PTOD like pandora. The LCD flickers and distorts color when I move the hinge. I can find only GPD win 2 cables on internet. Is it the same for the original GPD win? Does anyone known of a manual or video explaining how to change it? Thanks.

    Release DraStic Nintendo DS emulator

This is aimed for x86 computers also? Drastic is in fact the only thing I miss on my GPD win.

    Future of the CPU board?

Ramen! After following how difficult was developing actual CPU board I preferr to wait and get something noticeably better. And not just battery improvements.

    Future of the CPU board?

The A72 on the i.mx8 is really not that powerful compared to the A15 in the actual omap? It is like two generations ahead the A15. I thought there would be a huge difference. But well, I know nothing about this things.

    Release DraStic Nintendo DS emulator

I installed the core using retroarch, it doesn't say which version is but it's automatically updated. Just warning you that in a device much more powerful than Pandora not even desmume (much more mature than melonDS) is playable. I don't expect any devs to be encouraged on porting desmume or...

    Release DraStic Nintendo DS emulator

I have been checking melonDS for my gpdwin (since drastic is not available on x86 linux). MelonDS is not as compatible as drastic and performance is way way worse than drastic. Being a project aimed at x86 don't expect much focus on performance. Even if possible to port (I'm not the one to...

    Docker and Container

I really ignore the details. Maybe I'm wrong and LXC is not that different from docker.
