32gb Sdhc For $75 Ar

I'm assuming that you are interested in this for Pandora. You might as well wait until it comes out before buying an SD card. I was looking to pick up a 16gb SDHC six months ago or so for something like $60 because it was a great deal at the time. You can pick those up now for $25 - $30. I'd suggest waiting until you know Pandora is on its way or close to it. The price will only drop.

+1 to what Frogboy said. The only reason I can think of for buying cards now is if you have a need to use them for other things in the meantime, really. :p

Actually, I wanted it for my camera. I already bought 2 16GB's for Pandora. Paid $24.99, and I doubt they'll drop much more than that within a couple of months.

I'm praying that it's only a couple more months and that the second batch follows up quickly. On the other hand, if it takes another six months or more, I might be able to throw two 32gb cards in. How freakin' cool would that be! (the cards, not the delay of course :))

I'm putting this here as it will get the most attention in this subforum.

$75 after rebate. Best current deal in existence?

Credits to Shikaku for finding this and offering it to the gp32x community.

EDIT: Sold out. I wonder how many they had stocked? I added one to my cart, but hesitated and changed my mind. Guess I should have bit the bullet.

Keep an eye, maybe they'll restock.

That's a whole lotta porn.

Unicorn Power!!!

Oh, and so my post isn't wasteful, thanks for the link to the 32gig card. :)

That's still pretty pricy. I'd wait until it's about the same price as two 16 gig cards or lower. Doesn't really make sense to spend so much just to be on the cutting edge.

I am with cbox on this one. I understand trying to get as much as possible on as few cards but it seems silly, to me at least, to spend more for one 32 gb than two 16's when there are two slots. It's not like 16 gb is a small amount. You can get 16gb cards for under 30 bucks (a lot under if you wanna get a knock off or no name brand from ebay and risk it failing).

I too wish in the future to have enough memory via SD to not have to swap anything out but with one 16gb with my emulator files and most loved roms/mp3's and the ability to have another for files that I don't use as often or on a temporary basis I think I will live.

It comes down to a personal choice and if money isn't the issue, hell ya get a set of 32's, but it is for me and a lot of other people. As my Dad put it when we were talking finances Need Vs. Want. With two 16 gb's (or three, maybe a movie card that you only pop in when you wanna watch a movie) I have, for the moment, all the storage I need for my data on the go.

(course when the pandy ships and 64 gb cards are 75 and 32 gb cards are 30 will have the same discussion.) :p

Hmmm...

I'm going to pass. I can get two 8GB16GB's at a grand total of ~$60. Best part is, if one fails, I only have to spend half that to get a new one (assuming the warranty ran out, after which the 64GB's are probably cheap enough) whereas the 16GB32GB here will require $105/$75 to replace depending on whether or not the rebate ran out.

Edit: But please keep posting these deals. I can never find them myself, and I'd hate to miss one that I might've wanted to snatch up. :)
Another Edit: Ahh! Meant 16GB, not 8!

 32Gb for $55. That's *less* than the two 8Gbs you are referring too, and TWICE the storage capacity!

Anybody found any deals like this in sunny old England? I've got a 16Gb or two filling my stocking this Christmas, but wouldn't mind a 32Gb so long as it's around the same (no more than £5 more) or less than 2 16Gb cards.

You're right. I take that whole post back. :D

Edit: No, I don't. I meant 16GB. Whoops.

I'm on the lookout for 2 (yes TWO!) 32Gig cards. I want to put my entire music collection on my Pandora when it arrives and use it as my main music player (assuming it will fit in my jacket pocket...so I can listen to music while cycling to work).

So, if anyone hears of any good deals - please post here!

It excites me, thinking about all my tunes on a solid state device....whhuuuoorrr.

That doesn't really surprise me. I am given to understand that flash-media prices are more likely to rise (or at least stay the same - although some Kingston items have gone up in price and become low in supply here in the UK of late) than fall at the moment, due to the global economic situation.
