Hi,
I bought my used GP2X about half a year ago, and only a few months of usage later the audio jack stops working. I am guessing that it's broken on the inside, because sometimes the headphones work but sometimes the sound keeps streaming from the GP2X's speakers. Maybe I have ejected the headphone plug incorrectly and thus damaged the jack? I can't really test it anywhere but at home, and once I get home I don't have time to deal with it.

Do you have any suggestions of what I can do about this issue? It's such a good mp3/ogg player ...

The audio jack seems to be a common problem, as in it either stops working correctly, or it snaps off the board.

If your good with a soldering iron, then you could replace it, or you could send it back under warranty if it's < 12 months old.
