Hallo;
ich habe meine Pandora heute erhalten, und als ich das tethering mit meinem Handy ausprobieren wollte, ist es mir nicht gelungen, Bluetooth auf der Pandora zu aktivieren. Ich ging auf auf Settings->Bluetooth und es wurde mir "No Bluetooth adapters present" angezeigt. Alles klar, dachte ich mir, ich muss es sicher erst einschalten. Also klicke ich auf auf System-> Toggle Bluetooth Status, es erscheint die Nachricht "Bluetooth is being enabled", aber die entsprechende LED geht nicht an. Unter Settings_Bluetooth stand dann sowas wie "Bluetooth is not enabled" und es gab einen Button mit dem man es einschalten konnte. Dieser hatte aber keinen Effekt. Inzwischen habe ich die Pandora neu gebootet und es noch einmal probiert, jetzt komme ich nicht mal bis zum "enable Bluetooth" (oder so ähnlich) Button, "Toggle Bluetooth Status" hat keine Wirkung.

Was kann da kaputt sein?
 
Hmm... interessant.
Geht WiFi? Das ist der gleiche Chip.

Mache möglichst einen Neustart und aktiviere dann nur Bluetooth, und mach danach den dmesg.
Da scheint mir der Anfang schon zu fehlen ;)

Evtl. ist da beim Flash was schiefgelaufen, ein Firmware-Neuflash könnte helfen :)

Okay, das Bluetooth-Modul hat er ja schonmal hardwaremäßig gefunden.

Jetzt guggen wir mal, ob Du es von Hand starten kannst, denn dann könnte es tatsächlich ein mißlungener Firmwareflash sein :)

Auch wenn ich keine große Ahnung von Bt habe speziel was cts nun genau ist, scheint er probleme zu haben das modul zu laden.

Ich hab jetzt die Firmware neu geflasht und es funktioniert alles wie es sollte. Per Handy ins Internet ist auch kein Problem.
Aber jetzt muss ich noch die hotfixes installieren, reicht es, wenn ich nur den letzten installiere?

EDIT: OK, ich habe jetzt Hotfix 4 installiert und Bluetooth geht nicht mehr. Sollte der nicht eigentlich die Blutooth-Funktionalität verbessern? :confused::
 
Dann versuchs mit fw 5 beta mehr als das es auch läuft oder was anderes nicht läuft wird nicht passieren :)

Und wenns damit nicht geht schreib am besten ein bugreport.
 
Ih hab die neueste Beta installiert, ich hab die alte version wieder aufgespielt, Bluetooth funktioniert einfach nicht. Einmal, als ich die Pandora neu gestartet habe, ging es auf einmal - bis zum nächsten Neustart. Seltsamerweise wird auch der Bluetooth - Manager nicht in der Taskleiste angezeigt, nur die beiden Male als es ging war er da, ich kann ihn aber unter Preferences starten, aber es hilft ja nichts. Unter Preferences->Session and Startup habe ich auch nachgesehen und beide entsprechende Häkchen sind gesetzt.

Werde die PAndora wohl irgendwann mal einschicken müssen, denn auf Bluetooth Tethering und Headset will ich auf Dauer nicht verzichten.

Wenn es ging, tippe ich eher auf Software als auf Hardware...

Der Bluetooth-Manager wird in der Taskleiste nur dann angezeigt, wenn Bluetooth beim Start auch aktiv ist.
Es gibt in System / Toggle Bluetooth, damit läßt sich BT an- und abschalten.
Beim Runterfahren merkt sich das System, ob BT an oder aus war und stellt beim nächsten Start den Status wieder her.
War es beim Runterfahren aus, wird beim nächsten Start auch kein BT-Manager erscheinen.
 
Ja, es ging nachdem ich das NAND zum ersten mal neu geflasht habe. Dann habe ich den Hotfix 4 installiert und nach dem Neustart ging es wieder nicht. "Toggle Bluetooth Status" hilft absolut nichts, es wird halt nur "Bluetooth is being enabled" gemeldet. Die Bluetooth - LED geht nicht an und sonst passiert auch nichts. Seither hab ich die neueste Betafirmware probiert, ich habe probiert sie wieder downzugraden, es brachte alles nichts. Nur einmal, als ich die Pandora (schon während des Bootens) per USB OTG an einen PC in der Uni angeschlossen habe, um ein paar Daten darauf zu speichern, ging Bluetooth auf einmal wieder. Aber auch nur bis zum nächsten reboot. Ich habe versucht, das zu rekonstruieren, aber ohne Erfolg. Eigentlich denke ich auch, dass es ein Softwarefehler sein muss, aber der müsste doch durch das flashen des NAND behoben werden?
