CGTerm 1.7.2.0

As the title says, CGTerm is an open source, platform independent
terminal program for C/G telnet BBS:s. It's supposed to compile and
run on any POSIX compliant OS with the SDL library installed.

I know what a BBS is, and I know what telnet is and how they two might combine, but what does C/G stand for? If it's just Colour/Graphics, then telnet clients commonly support ANSI colour control codes these days.

Edit: Though to be fair those graphics glyphs in that screenshot look more like teletext graphics than ncurses.

Does it do petscii? :)

This program is for connecting with Commodore BBS, so it's compatible with PETSCII graphics and C64 colours.
On a real C64, terminal programs like CCGMS were compatbile with C/G or Ansi.

Hi all :)

@canseco : could I use CGTerm to access the BBS listed here ?

You can connect to them, but you would only be able to see plain text

Here's a list of active compatible BBS, http://cbbsoutpost.servebbs.com/
