Because of the limited NAND space, I was wondering if it is possible to change the 'send to trash' behaviour to permanently delete the selected object instead of sending it to the trash.

When I change my PlayStation or MegaCD games I tend to remove ones I don't use, just copying from my external hard drive when needed, I use my computer to remove the old games but I don't want to have to keep using my mac to remove the old ones which can in some cases be a GB or more.

Cheers for any help you can give.

Just followed the instructions andit works perfectly, thanks dude for the advice and quick response.

I knew about the Shift Delete thing but my wife uses the Pandora a lot too and I didn't want her to accidentally fill the NAND literally with trash.

Once again the Pandora community makes me a happy man :)

I also had a setup which linked the garbage bin on the nand to a directory on my SD card. I don't delete anything through the file browser though (very much prefer the terminal) so I haven't really bothered since the last reflash I had to do.
