Hi everybody
I was wondering if someone is planning to port the Kenta Cho's/ABBA games to GP2x. I've allready got the Noiz2a port but they're so much cool game made by Kenta that I don't really understand why nobody port them to GP2x. All sources and graphics are available with the games. If i've got a beginning of coder skill I'll do it myself, but I don't.
Personnally, I'll hope that Torus Trooper and Mu-Cade will be port to ou lovely console.
You can found the windows version of all the games at
http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/
and the homepage for Mu-Cade (a fantistic mix of centipede and asteroid) at
http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/windows/mcd_e.html
Thanks to all

I understand for the use of D, but I though it could be ported by using devkitpro (who cvan compile D code) or something like that.
That's a real pity cose those games are so great. Maybe we can manage to ask Kenta to make a GP2x port (hope is a good way to support life :D )
Whatever, thanks for your answers.

There's no D compiler for ARM (afaik), so no such luck.

And the D compiler is closed source (also afaik), so no chance of hacking around with it (by us or any other hackers with too much spare time on their hands).

all the games have been ported to linux. http://rrootage.sourceforge.net/ it also has links to other kenta cho games that have been ported to linux. i think they all still use the d language though but im not sure.

edit: the linux ports do use c++ but they probably also use opengl so they are not impossible to port to gp2x but the porter whould have to figure out how to deal with the opengl code.

Cool news !
Maybe somebody will try to port one of those. And with the help of the other graphic libs available for GP2x, it'll be possible. I know i'm just speaking and not doing anything, but I love those games...
