I just got my Pandora today, but it has a big Problem: The Xorg cursor doesn't want to leave the top middle position.

That means when I use the left nub it flickers between top middle and 1 cm in the direction I point the nub.

When using the touchscreen the cursor is always in the middle between where I touch and top middle.

When I put 3 fingers on the screen at once I sometimes can use the nub to steer the cursor normally.

I updated the firmware to the most recent version but no change.

Could it be that the case is triggering the touchscreen?

Can I unscrew the touchscreen case and have a look without voiding the warranty?

Could it be that the case is triggering the touchscreen?

that would be a sensible gut reaction

don't know about the warranty side of things, craigix/whoever would have to answer that, but the screens are quite hard to open. can't think of any way the middle of the screen bezel could clamp down on it though, sounds more like a little bit of dirt is stuck there perhaps...or of course the panel is broken, but then it wouldn't go halfway between the position and your finger...
