Flash 3d Engine


Nahhh... it renders about 20 polygons at a dreadful frame rate. It just wouldn't work on gp2x.
 
To use flash to write a 3d engine is cool but useless. On the pro side you can draw triangles fast and everything you draw is scaleable because its drawn with vectors (like common in flash). On the cons you have a slow (slowslowslow) script language (action script) to write all that matrix/vector math that may cause the poor framerate of that demo. Anyway, its a cool demo...

... we also have no flash on the :gp2x, have we?

We have slow Flash 7. :(

We can do far far better with true 3D engines like PayBack, or with fake 3D engines of various sorts.
