Hi.

I was browsing the HOTU forums the other day, when I came across a link to a really great freeware RPG called Boundless Ocean. Upon further research, it seems the game was made using an open source game engine for making RPGs. Allow me to link you:

OHRRPGCE

It looks like something the GP2X could easily handle. I don't know how easy a port would be, but it would be glorious to play Boundless Ocean on a portable, to any interested devs. ;)

Regards,
Tyler

Wow, that is really cool. I haven't read much, just checked to see if it ran on Linux, but it doesn't seem to. But the source is there, so maybe someone could port it.

Wait.... I just googled it and found That it does in fact run in Linux.

I'm going to read more on it, but it looks like it does.

It is coded in FreeBasic, so I'm guessing that the only thing that would probably hold back a port is the availability of FreeBasic on the GP2X. And AFAIK, there isn't FreeBasic for GP2X, only x86 Linux. Dunno how feasible making FreeBasic programs compile for ARM Linux / GP2X / etc. would be.

Too bad, though. I like OHRRPGCE.

Looks likes a clone of RPG maker 2003
Too bad that hamster separatists will end in Joe Cartoon flash movies :(
