Bonus for open hardware and free software, here are my first finds:

http://retroactive.be/tech_n64_hdmi.php N64 HDMI output and http://64drive.retroactive.be/ N64 development cart

http://www.hughski.com/press-release-2014-01-20.html  Colourhug+  (spectrometer)

Would be really nice to have colour calibration on pyras out of the box, its linux|gnu so its possible. Not a per display thing as that would be too expencive, but as a general setup.

http://dp2retina.rozsnyo.com/   and later https://www.lab-nation.com/ https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1859884318/oscar-the-open-screen-adapter  ipad3 displayport boards

http://www.osciprime.com/  and later https://www.lab-nation.com/  Android oscilloscope

I have experience with rozsnyo and osciprime, colorhug products, really nice people in all those projects.

Edit: Cameras

http://www3.elphel.com/model_353_cameras  looks intersting, wide range of products

https://www.apertus.org/axiom  seems costly

http://www.systronics.ch/deu/leanxcam-sdk_81433.shtml  little too old for the pricepoint, maybe they will update

What's a sortiment?

- Neelix

Edit:  it just occurred to me (several minutes later)  that the intended word may have been assortment,  but that strikes me as being an odd word to use given the context...
