I found a way to lose your free GP32 mug coupon... you know, the one you got if you ordered a GP32 sometime at Lik-Sang...
How? Here is a nifty little story...

1. Two years ago, I bought a GP32 at LikSang. Yay! :)
2. A few months ago, I received a coupon for a free mug from LikSang. Yipeeh :)
3. I pre-ordered the mug (I was also willing to pay 9$ shipping just for the mug)
4. Before the mug has been available, the GP32 BLU at that amazing cheap price had been announced at LikSang... so I decided to preorder the GP32 BLU.
5. Every preorder of the GP32 BLU gets a free mug. Yay, another one ;)
6. I therefore decided to merge the two orders, so I don't have to pay that much shipping just for a mug.
7. The new order: 1 Mug (coupon) + 1 Mug (BLU preorder) + 1 GP32 BLU
Shipping costs rose 3 $ which I thought is okay (the package is larger than before).
8. Then the package arrived: 1 Mug and 1 GP32 BLU. Where is the missing mug?
9. I asked LikSang. Answer: The mug is promo, they limit the offer 1 mug per package. If I ordered anything else and used my mug coupon on THAT order, I would've gotten 2 mugs... but I still don't know why the shipping was 3 $ more than before.

The final conclusion:
1 GP32 BLU Preorder = 1 free mug and 9$ shipping
1 GP32 BLU Preorder + 1 free mug coupon = 1 free mug an 12 $ shipping.

So I just lost a coupon and paid 3 $ more.
It's nothing terrible for me, I just find that logic a bit illogical ;)

How annoying, is this the first time you have used a BLU? what do you think?

I won't call it bad luck, it doesn't trouble me at all.
I'm still interested in finding any logical aspects in this story ;)

Yep, it's my first experience with the BLU. Until now, I only got a non-lit GP.

The BLU has a pretty good contrast (everything darker looks much better than using a non-lit GP - even if you have REAL good light).
But when you have a good light source (e.g. halogen spot, sun outside, etc) the BLU gets pretty dark and you're lucky to have a non-lit GP32.

However, this has been discussed in a lot of different threads, so I don't wanna start a discussion now.

Dang, sucks for you bro. Tell the cheeky gets at liksang to give you your $3 back!
Ahh, no. They were so nice to declare the value of the package that low (35 Euro ;)), that I didn't have to pay any customs :)
That's way more than $3 :)

i had some problems getting the mugs too. Iordered my blu expecting to get a mug free but didnt get one. Then i ordered something else and used my coupon from my flu i got about a year ago but it wouldnt work :( so ive just given up on it now

You are a mug.

That's a joke, nothing to do with our intertwined and comlicated history.

According to an eMail I got from LikSang, the mug I got was from my coupon.
Looks like I wouldn't have gotten one if I didn't use the coupon...

So... it looks like they actually don't give away free mugs for BLU preorders although they stated it...

What's wrong here???

Hmmm... <imagining being a mug full of nice, hot coffee...>

Sounds good :D
