You fucking plagerising Non-Search using Bastard!!!!!!

MAME FUCKING HIGH SCORE THREAD CRIMINALLY OVERLOOKED!!!!!

Humph, I say Humph!!!!

Forgive me sir, I didn't see your thread ... buried under the others ... and last entry back in February ... I read this bit from your first post:

So lets kick off. I haven't got into any one game particularly yet, as I only got the set a couple of days ago. But a few suggestions, then we narrow the list down to maybe 4 or 5, set up a thread for each game, and then get those batteries charged!!!!!!

(Galaxians!)

... I see no high score there, or in any of the other posts. And also noticed it's in the "cool Ideas" section ... and apparently it is purged ... just peruse the Cool Ideas forum ... see if you can find it without using a search .... it ain't there ;) Oh well, carrying on ...

Thanks for the scores folks :)

LOL, I'm just glad this is up! I (obviously) think it's a great idea. I love Mame, and when I were a lad the best thing was the hi-score element. Hanging around my grubby arcade etc.

So, I will be firing mame up later, and beating all your hi-scores!

Awesome!! Thanks ... I look forward to the challenge ... my old thumb muscles are starting to limber up ;)

Actually, this week I won't be by a PC, so I will take my GP2x with me and start practising!

I just love mame! I have cleared my memory card so I can just put the games on!

I'll make a note of the games to play, and get onto it!

And another:

Wonderboy - 151,660 (one of my all time Sega favorites and a lot damn harder on the gp2x than on the PC with a PS2 pad)

I've got a replacement stick: Dave C's Get a Grip. It really helped, as with the standard GP2X stick, my high score was nearer 200k.

When I got my 989'000 score on Bombjack, I finished levels 1-9 perfectly: all 23 bombs for 50'000 point bonuses. On subsequent levels, I sometimes just clear the bombs with no concern for getting them in order as it's too hard to do so. I think I finished on about level 23.

The really annoying thing is that I accidentally collected an "S" coin, making me "lucy" and taking me straight to the next level. I missed out on the bonus for whatever round that was and had I not done so, would've achieved my elusive 1 million points.

Right now I'm averaging 6-700'000 points but when I beat my personal best, I'll post a screenshot.

Is not easy to play with the gp2x pad.
I can finish Ghosts'n goblins, Black tiger Xain'd Sleena Ghouls n ghosts and many other with first life on pc (I have the inps if you don't believe), but with gp2x I'm not able to finish GNG with one credit.
There are some game that don't need a better control, like bombjack and you can do great score with gp2x (never like pc but also great)!
1.M is a very good score, on pc I my max score is only 550.000.
