I just got a new laptop and it has a lightscribe drive and I wanted to make a new advancemame dvd and use a lightscribe label. I think you can use any jpeg file (but the end results would be black and white). Can anyone recomend a good mame cd or dvd label? It will be my first lightscribe project. Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

Back on topic, has anyone made labels for the secure digital labels for their sd cards? Could you post them?

And I recently got a bunch of 4mb smc cards and an 8mb (hey they .50 a piece, complete with plastic holders. I couldn't resist) I remember some poeple way back had made up smc labels for the various emulator and some homebrews. If anyone could post a link to them or even just repost them, It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

http://mamedev.org/MAMELogoTM.jpg will help somewhat, if you hadn't seen that already

remember: it may only be black and white but you will be able to create a dotscreen at whatever the resolution of it is. when my band had our cds printed up, it was a lot cheaper to get laser printing than silkscreen, but using a dot screen allowed us to do some fancy graphics (a crappy little picture here: http://www.quarkct.com/img/sfs3.png ) you can't really see it in that pic but there's a nice watermark-style pattern in the back.

dunno about other programs, i know it's pretty easy in photoshop to do this.

also i haven't seen many lightscribe discs but since it's so subtle maybe it would be better to just go solid black & white. maybe just grab that mame logo and make it slightly bigger than the disc..simple is good.
