A new, interesting, modern, open-source flash-player called Lightspark just reached beta-status.

It's based on LLVM for the actionscript3-parsing, and OpenGL-shaders for the rendering. It uses ffmpeg for the video, but no audio yet...
Let's see where that's going. It's currently not too useful yet, but it's definitely worth tracking.

As for the Pandora, I dont know how well LLVM works on ARM (but Lightspark also has an interpreter), the OpenGL-shaders will need to be ES-ified, and there's apparently also some SSE2-code in there...
 
I tried it with 9 different flash files, with 8 it simply segfaults at startup and the 9th aborts right away.
Don't know if it has to do with me using an AMD64 Linux and Mesa 7.9-devel with early GLSL support for R700...
