Well...
First of all, Divx/Xvid and Kouky2X are not used on same ways...

DivX/Xvid is good for watching films and other long videos, while kouky2x doesn't support sound and its purpose is to make short lenght videos which are totally loaded into the GP2X RAM. It's very fast to jump from a frame to any other one in a Kouky2x video, that's why it's good for mixing. And it's working pretty well!

About file size comparaison, I guess -on a same picture quality base- , kouky2x files are 5 to 10 times bigger than a Xvid/DivX file... But once again, they're made for different purposes... And I'm NOT a professional codec developper.

This app is really cool. I just played around with the win32 version here at work. Good stuff. Can't wait to put it on my gp2x.
