I've noticed the "Work in Progress" page isn't complete on the Wiki and just wanted to check on this app before adding it.

I saw the other thread about Nethack which got me thinking, the game was fun but the graphics were a bit of a shame (helped the imagination though I guess). Anyway, I stumbled across this - http://falconseye.sourceforge.net/ (source available there).

You have to admit, Nethack with graphics like this is impressive:

So, does anyone know if anyone is porting this yet? (I'll play about with it when I get a chance via cross compiling but I wont be able to fix anything code wise, afaik the game doesn't use OpenGL though so OpenGL > ES shouldn't be an issue)

Specs list:
* 386 or greater (Pentium recommended)
* Display card capable of 800x600 resolution, 256 colors
* Mouse
* 6 megabytes disk space
* SDL

Just hope the 800x600 requirement doesn't cause it to be a non-starter.

As long as it works it should still be portable, the reason I say that rather than recommending Vulture's Eye is purely because I think Falcon's Eye looks better (interface looks properly designed and polished, the other looks rather rough).
