so i'm playing a bit of death junior, i love you umd emulator, and i decided to see if theres anything good on tv tonight.

exit to menu and boot up the tenchi browser, just like i have done loads of times before. only this time theres a problem.

the usual white text on black background comes on, screen goes black and then...

an error message (80010002) comes up saying the game cannot be loaded.

blurgh?

i try again, same error.

i turn off the psp and remove the battery, try again and still get the error.

i start to get wound up so think a format of the memory stick and then reinstalling the browser is bound to help.

i try this, it still fails.

i then scream as i realise i've just deleted all my save files.

my ridge racer save with my awesome time trials, gone.

lumines, gone.

tiger woods, sitting through all those load screens, gone!

so now i'm save fileless and the browser still won't work.

little help, anyone?

I had this after using the UMD emu.

But it was solved by holding the power switch and letting the PSP restart.

But you say you've taken out the battery, so that should have done it.

i thought it was something to do with the UMD emulator...

good to know that someone else has had these problems, i'll keep trying!

UPDATE:

After another format and more reinstalling, i finally got the damn thing to work.

had to do a return to default settings from within the system menu.

i dunno what the umd emu does to your system, but its not groovy!

are you using the option that fakes the umd within the psp menu itself?

im not to sure, i tried it once, just thinking it would be as straight forward as fastloader 7 and no games worked with it. are there any benefits of using umd emulator rather than hookboot or fastloader?
