Is it possible for a wacom tablet to work with the Pandora? I was thinking with gimp or other drawing apps for the pandora.

( I just noticed I might have posted in the wrong section, MOD please move if needed)

I just tried my graphire, the very first one (yeah, I know, it's awfully old, but since it still works and is far enough for my usage  :lol:  ).

So, it works… the screen is mapped to the tablet active surface.

Only problem I got is that when I click, the visible mouse pointer seems to stop moving until I move the stylus away from the tablet then back over it. I don't know if it register pressure levels from the wacom, but since it does on the touchscreen, it probably does.

Semi related... Is it possible to get this working with Pandora?

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=at.bitfire.gfxtablet&hl=en

How to use:

* Install the app
* Download the uinput binary file and run it (download here: http://rfc2822.github.com/GfxTablet/#part-1-uinput-driver). Leave it open as long as you want your PC to receive input events from your Android device.
* Enable WiFi on the device, connect it to your LAN.
* Open the app, go to Settings and enter the IP address of your Desktop machine.
* Open i.e. GIMP, go to Preferences / Input devices. Choose "NetworkTablet" and set its mode to "Screen".
* Happy painting ;)
Edit: For all of us Note 2 and Note 8.0 owners ;)

^- Already feeling the sting of lacking software on Android, itching for the powerful tools?

^ No, I'm not sorry I got a note 8.0. :)

It has exceeded my expectations. And I do have powerful desktop quality software - its called TV Paint animation. I'm busy studying its 460 page manual.

My contribution to this thread was not out of need, but curiosity. I don't even know how to use gimp. ;)
