Here is TA3D, the 3D remake of Total Annihilation.

You need the data files from the orginal games (it is totala1.hpi to totala4.hpi, or data from scenario CoreContaingeancy). If you don't have the data, the Demo data is include and can give you a taste of this game.

With the 3D Remake, this game plays A LOT like Supreme Commander!

It should be playable with Nubs or Touchscreen, but of course a real Mouse is prefered.

/!\ On CC, you will need a swapfile for it /!\

/!\ On CC, The default driver will not work, use 4.04 for best result /!\

Thanks to ekianjo and magic_sam for the testing.

Congrats on 200!, You've been a great help to this community.

wow, once more an impressive port! that's great, thanks!

Awesome!

I am spectating Balanced Annihilation, a game using the Spring rts Engine, which tries to reimplement the old total anninihilation, from time to time.

Nice, to have this on the Pandora now, too! :D

I only have totala2.hpi to totala4.hpi on my cd-roms.

--EDIT, had to partly install it with wine to have the n°1.

Oh, a most welcome addition. I just so happen to have the TA games installed on my old laptop. How fortuitous.

You are a mean porting machine. Somebody get this guy the Darwinia source code!

I bought the Humble "Introversion" Bundle some time (years ? ) ago. Source code for all their games was included, if I remember correctly.

EDIT: @ptitSeb: is TA3D compatible with the version available on GOG ?

Cheers, Magic Sam

@magic_sam: I don't know if it's compatible with GOG release, but I suppose it is.

@Ryo Hazuki: yeah, first one is always the most difficult...

@Notaz: Thanks! :)

@Loonie: Darwinia? I don't know, I have to search for pictures (but I think I remember source code are inside some special package or something like that).

A little late on congrats...but again we really appreciate your hard work...happy 200th PND :)
