..From the Usb 2.0 hub ive picked up from Staples today, to my 2.0 Webcams to my cellphone to either of my hard drive docks. ( all of which are 2.0/1.1 )

What happened? the webcams used to recognize and work with the mics in them at least now sudo lsusb only lists the hub inside the panda. Ive already rebooted and am running HF4b1 by the way guys. Any help is appreciated.

Edit: My devices are getting power, as my cellphone is charging from the Pandora's USB port

i think that happened to me when battery level was lower than 10% , there's not enough current to feed all devices
if it doesn't work, you should take out the battery for 10 minutes, i think

plugged into mains, Batt is @ 70% currently and charging..

anything in dmesg? Maybe you are wrong about one device being 2.0, and it is causing the driver to lock up so not respond to the rest of your devices? Or the port is broken?

I put this here because is similar than what I'm having, with the exception that the USB 2.0 port never worked for me.

I've never been able to succesfully use the USB 2.0 port yet but I didn't spend time debugging it yet. "dmesg | tail" always says:
Code:
[ 187.349151] hub 1-0:1.0 unable to enumerate USB device on port 2
Any tips on how should I debug this? I even bought a 2.0 hub from amazon because I read in the forum it worked fine. If I plug it into my laptop this is what it says:
Code:
[389753.908600] usb 1-6: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2
[389754.032443] usb 1-6: New USB device found, idVendor=05e3, idProduct=0608
[389754.032451] usb 1-6: New USB device strings: Mfr=0, Product=1, SerialNumber=0
[389754.032456] usb 1-6: Product: USB2.0 Hub
[389754.033493] hub 1-6:1.0: USB hub found
[389754.033816] hub 1-6:1.0: 4 ports detected

So it really is 2.0.

On the other side the miniAB port works perfectly in both bodes (I made a custom cable bridging pins 4&5 and I can plug any 1.1 device there and use it). BUT for it to work as a host I must first run "sudo usb-gadget" and it loads some things:
Code:
[ 813.092132] g_cdc gadget: using random self ethernet address
[ 813.097900] g_cdc gadget: using random host ethernet address
[ 813.104492] usb0: MAC 8a:c4:51:61:d0:44
[ 813.108398] usb0: HOST MAC e6:5f:8c:f3:19:3f
[ 813.113067] g_cdc gadget: CDC Composite Gadget, version: King Kamehameha Day 2008
[ 813.120666] g_cdc gadget: g_cdc ready
[ 813.124389] musb_hdrc musb_hdrc: MUSB HDRC host driver
[ 813.129699] musb_hdrc musb_hdrc: new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 2
[ 813.137481] usb usb2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
[ 813.143310] hub 2-0:1.0: USB hub found
[ 813.147155] hub 2-0:1.0: 1 port detected
[ 813.670288] usb usb2: New USB device found, idVendor=1d6b, idProduct=0002
[ 813.677215] usb usb2: New USB device strings: Mfr=3, Product=2, SerialNumber=1
[ 813.684478] usb usb2: Product: MUSB HDRC host driver
[ 813.689483] usb usb2: Manufacturer: Linux 2.6.27.46-omap1 musb-hcd
[ 813.695739] usb usb2: SerialNumber: musb_hdrc

The bad thing is, not every device that's USB2.0 compatible really ARE USB2.0 Hispeed...
Your hub might be one of those.

Easiest thing to test your USB port is plugging in a recent USB stick - they mostly always are 2.0 Hispeed.

Try to shut off the pandora, then start it again (not reboot)
and then try a 2.0 device.

I have found that usb 1.0/1.1 devices causes the "Unable to enumerate usb device on port 2"
and once that has been triggered, the usb is frozen, doesnt work until a real shutdown, reboot simply doesnt help.

Found that out the hard way a few minutes ago actually. Thanks for the heads up
