I was away for the last few days (visiting my parents), but I'm now back :)

As finally production is within grasp again (whooooot!) and a lot has happened since I made my last videos, I want to do some more.

Not just to show you waiting folks WHY you've been waiting, but also to show newcomers what the Pandora can do :)

I want to make one video per day (except weekends), just showing one game / app / function / etc.

So - tell me, what you want to see! Got an app / game from the archive you want to see?

Or anything like "how does MiniMenu" or "how does XFCE4" work?

Post here - and I'll select a suitable app each day to show you!

I know you did that one video where you were playing on the TV-Out with a gamepad, and I appreciated that, but I would really really really like to see multiplayer in that configuration. The more people you could get simultaneously playing the Pandora, the better. My cousins and I played a demo for Bomberman on the PlayStation that took a lot of players (8?), but I don't know how it runs.

By the way, if this has already been done, disregard this post...right after you send the link, of course.

I'd love to see some video of descent 1 or 2 (preferably 2) running with nub controls! :-D If not that, I never get tired of PSX emulator videos. ;)

I would like to see the N64 emulator, maybe zelda ocarina of time or banjo kazooie, and PC games like baldurs gate. Some ego shooter played with nubs will be nice too.

I would like to see a video of you dancing like a robot on a pandora

How about a video of...

Start a stopwatch.

Start with a unit in the same state/condition ours will be in when we open the box.

Go through whatever initial configuration steps are required.

Put in an SD card.

Connect up to WiFi with it and do whatever is needed to load a Pandora PND game/file from the online repository to the SD card.

Start playing.

Stop the stopwatch and zoom in on it.

Ooooh, I would definitely like to see some Baldur's Gate in GemRB! :D
Me also, I think Baldur's Gate II works better at this point though. Gog.com has them all for $9.99 each with all their expansions. Unfortunately they don't have BGII yet, I own it already but hope it is on gog.com before all of the first units ship for everyone else. Planescape also runs really well from what I understand.

Xfce 4.8pre1 Released

But i don't think you're evil enough ^^, and more seriously, maybe a waste of time.

More doable, a VNC through a ssh tunnel, with OP controlling PC, both screen simultaneously on video. Why not vice and versa.

Vnc (or anything networked, ftp, cifs/samba etc.) through an openvpn. A _true_ openvpn, not those crappy pseudo-vpn on cellphone that never works.

As many OP owners will connect, one day or another, to insecure WiFi hotspots, openvpn will be a nice security solution.

A VOIP app, OP calling your cellphone (french ISP "free" enabled SIP a long time ago, had fun making calls from my nintendo DS with svsip : http://svsip.free.fr/spip.php?rubrique9).

I can create an account for you (PM me).

A 96kHz/24bit audio demo using that kind of stuff :

I don't know if ardour(...), rosegarden or lmms compiles on OP.

A solfege demo :

http://www.solfege.org/ (oh i strongly hope it works !)

OP controlling a synthesizer using this kind of stuff :

An Hydrogen demo :

A demo with this (compatible Linux) :

Ideal for WiFi haters like me.

A demo with a wiimote, at least with cwiid : http://abstrakraft.org/cwiid/

A video/photo recording with a high quality webcam.

A cd/dvd copy/ripping, followed by a burning, using, of course, an usb dvd burner.

An aMSN demo.

MSN sucks like all m$ products, but many users will be pleased.

A live tweeter posting.

A demo with a pico projector could rock.

^I second this.

I would also like to see Neuvoo running, but only if you have time.

I really want to see a video of Remmina controlling a linux and windows desktop. This is one of the things I really want to use my Pandora for it will replace my iPhone in this respect.

You still need to give PandoraPanic! a nice spot in a video! :p

I'd also recommend the Panjoust demo.

And that's enough bias from me...

I think a nice demo of how versatile the Pandora is, like "OMG I'm word processing, now I'm killing Ganon's moblins, now I'm searching for Big Whoop!"

+1 for Neuvoo

I love Gentoo, was the distro that helped me dump windows 100%, a year after using Gentoo I have never had anything Microsoft installed on any of my hardware. Now I'm lazy and a default Ubuntu install works good enough for me. Gentoo, err Neuvoo, would be very nostalgic for me, haven't used it in a while.
