I'd for sure be more than happy to have either one working @ full speed with sound. I'll definitely donate $10 to either or both developers if this happens!

and fGen32 is much better, but it'll be out next weekend either way (hopefully better!) because I'll put in into GBAX2004

I don't expect it to win because it won't *really* be ready, but I just might as well

you never know... but even if they're not ready by may 1st you should still donate, these guys are putting in the time for these projects to be perfected.

can't wait to see what tasty morsels are being entered

I think yoyo will release something for the zodiac in the competition, not for the GP32.

I second that. It's a man and his new toy ;)

I think we'll see a snes release from him for both systems, one emu playing nes-gb-gbc and snes games.

Whilst yoyo has been releasing (almost daily at one point) update betas for the zodiac, only developers can play these.

He's now at a comparitive stage progress wise on each system, the public will now be able to get their hands on a polished and complete emu for each system.

On the subject of the zodiac community, i think its awful. The vast majority of posters to the most active board (zodiacgamer.com) are either people whining or merely playing forum board games that have a vague relation to the zodiac.

I dissagree. I think he'll enter something for both systems. Granted it is his new toy, but he said he would def still be coding for the gp and touhing up the ASM core, and since its easy to port zodiac to gp, i dont see a reason why he wouldn't (better chance of winning after all).
edit- spray beat me

I hope I'll finish my game till May 1st and I wish that the best and the most pieces are for the GP32
THAT's the spirit! To be honest, i don't give a sh*t about new emulators (to fuel your fire, rlyeh won't enter anything, hehe), I'm excited about the new games people designed for GBAX2004. From what I've seen by now there'll be loads of cool games, which I like way more than any emulator.

The nice thing about new emulators is that it opens up a large library of existig software. Which is especially nice if you have a large old collection that is a pain to set up.

I am more interested in the seeing the obscure 8 bit machines, and I think they would be easier to port than the more powerful 16 bit machines.

hehe, i think i'll like most of the entries, nontheless if they are emus, original games or ports ^^
and about zodiac, well nobody's paying, so nobody should cry :p (donating doesn't count :D)
when will humankind learn the diffrence between a service and a must?

Edit: lamerkind, no human is stupid by default (a wise man told me this)

omg, diabol

Im Mortified, is the zodiac community as good as this one, i cant believe all the good developers have turned to that piece of black shit
as far as the commuinity goes, all they do is bitch and flame the hell out of everyone. I just go there every now and then just to see if there is anything new I might want to download.

This place is a hell of a lot better, you guys only flame when someone acts an ass, or asks for roms/warez.
