Gp Drive


You could corrupt your SMC.

Worst case scenario you have to re format it and copy everything back on again. Not the end of the world but annoying.
 
Your SMC will start smoking, then GP32 will explode, it will burn your entire house, and kill you with terrible pain. Or peharps simply corrupt the file you were writing, which can be partially corrected with pacrom repair command.
 
it just doesnt fully copy your file, so all you have to do to fix it is to delete that file the next time you run PClink
 
I just really don't understand why you people think it is necessary to take the piss when somebody asks a simple innocent question.

I don't understand, why would the SMC corrupt if you are only reading from it?

Most likely the file which you are copying from GP32 to the PC would be unusable on the PC and the Gp32 will say link error.
