Well I downloaded all the ST sewer docs from here: http://home.tu-clausthal.de/~ifmar/pompey/news.shtml

So I could learn to play some of my old favourites over again. (The sewer docs have instructions for almost all ST games and run from within the emulator) But it seems they load in either medium or high res, and are all but unreadable :( Would it be possable to show these resolutions on a scrolling screen rather than a scaled one?, perhaps giving the option to scale or scroll on the preferences menu? It would save a lot of people hunting through websites/asking on forums/ going a couple of hundred miles to my mums loft in wales, and digging out my ST boxes :)

I really liked the name. And i'm really into egyptology. And when I started picking a nick years ago, most of the other Pharoahs were taken. Thutmosis12 didn't appeal (you know how yahoo appends the names), and Hatshepsut, though cool, is a bird. With a fake beard.

And why are you called axeman? I always wonder why people choose the names they do.

P.S. On some boards I might be under the names khephre or Khafre.

I can pretty easily add a two-panel medium res mode.. where you toggle between the two halves of the screen. Would be rather annoying though, but easier to read :)

I've thought about it.. its easily done. The real question is the GUI, though....

Push left-shoulder to pop up a menu; the menu woudl have 3 options:

1) Scaled to fit
2) Left side
3) Right side

I coudl even add high res then:

1) Scaled to fit
2) Left
3) Right
4) Top
5) Bottom

*Shrug*. Any thoughts? Easily done.

sounds fine.

i've still got gripes with the GUI interface, but perhaps i bette ruse it extensively before i voice them!

That sounds like it would solve the problem. Then stick a link to the sewer doc site, and we should never hear umpteen questions about how to play whichever game...
