When i try to run movies that are over 15 fps or over 2 hours the screen turns gray and there is a lot of text and stuff. (i use spivs multifw)

the sound is at 32 11025

is there a way?

Take my word for it, that's not a problem. You don't want movies over 15 fps anyway for your GP32. It wastes space, and the LCD screen compensates for the lower fps.

And when your screen "turns gray and there is a lot of text and stuff", it means the GP32 has crashed. It's the GP32 equivalent of the Windows "blue screen of death"

sure u dont need 17 when u have a fast moving movie with like jackie?

I can manage to go up to 25 fps but only with 16/9 movies
it depend on the data rate in fact so in order to improve fps you have to reduce bitrate...
with 64kbps (divx 4.12) you can have more than 15fps

see you

Divx is bad for higher framerates, since you have to decimate by 2 or 3.
With Xvid you can change the framerate to your likeness.

That is very odd. Mine seems to be able to handle playing 200kbs with 20fps with divx. I run it at 166mhz though. I never tried using Xvid, is it that much better? Cause what I have seems perfect enough for me...
