I have decided to buy a new photoediting programme coz PAINT's just plain annoying me now, but can n e one reccommend a well priced one?

I have about £80 to spend, so obviously Adobe is out the window

and b4 n e one asks i won't use P2P

I got my photoshop from "the usual places"... I don't use it anywhere near enough to spend the amount of money it costs. I suppose I could get an older version but I'm getting used to the new one now.

I'm on BT

I need something more advanced than Gimp, it's for college work aswell as my ongoing array of signatures (I got a new one, again all made in PAINT)

I dont need the full Photoshop because a majority of the things i need are in Elements, so theres no point spending another £450 odd to get a bit more

I think i'm gonna go for Elements

I'm using BT and received a take down notice regarding several films i had been downloading, and thus for a short period sharing, on edonkey.

its hilarious as i've got over a rio karma full of music in my time and no ones cared about that! then a few shitty films (and i got caught on the ones my mother wanted) and they're threatening legal action!

shit bt? do they send these notices by email or what? because ive lost my log in information and dont use their email addresses etc so that could cause a problem

Thats what you get for using BT I suppose, its karma you see.
You should switch to a decent ISP, I'm on nildram which is £5 cheaper then BT, much more reliable, probally faster and doesn't spy on you and there are many others like it.

You could try "Paint Shop Pro", costs $84 when downloaded. Heard a lot of good things about it, but have never used it myself, so don't hang me if its useless ;) . I am a Photoshop user myself.

Check out this link : Paint Shop Pro

All isps spy on you. It's the law, it is here in the UK anyway, to keep records of everyones internet activity for a few years.

It wasnt BT doing the spying.

the MPAA had found me using there usual means of justing being an average joe user on p2p programs and harvesting i.p.s from it.

they then sent a letter to bt who merely passed the buck onto me! and its done through the post, only important email i ever got was from freeserve about being online for seven days solid!
