I was paying a Visit to my home city of Newcastle last week and whaddya know I came across a batch of BLU's in a new shop called The next level, on pilgrim street. If memory serves they were about £165. And they had all of the english commercial software available too.

Is this old news? Just I haven't been on for a while and it's a little tricky to search for :)

there will be alot if idiots that will buy it cos its new and they think there cool.

but when they try to run it they will be like .....................

yeah they have imported them. I asked the owner if he knew when the official release was and he said not until november.

Apologies for the Blue/blu mistake by the way...I just got off a flight a few hours ago and I'm wrecked.

Its a good shop, they had an Amiga 1200 that I nearly walked out with for £20....nearly, my bank balance got the better of me.

but this may mean that we will get more n00bs to the site asking stoopid questions instead of searching

Why don't you just give them the information and tell them about the search engine then...

That is remarkably nice to hear - hopefully they'll go down with the UK populace well.

At least, if they can understand how to use them. Which they probably will be able to. But we'll see...

The Next Level is the crapest computer shop i have ever had the mis-fortune to go in.

GBA games sell for £35
Players Choice gamecube games are priced up at £39.99
And they could not even find 1080 even though the box was on the shelf, after waiting for 15 minutes i walked out in discust. I had to laugh though a woman came in and asked for Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga on the GBA and was told it was not released yet.

I started to argue and told her to goto Gamestation and they would sort her out.

The shop was so desperate for my business they slashed the price of 1080 (this was a few weeks after release) from £39.99 to £29.99 to try and get me to buy it.

I did actually have the money, just I doubt I would have had the space in my suitcase to bring it home.

Anyway my main focus is Dreamcast at the moment so I picked up a few games instead.

A 1200 can be picked up for no more than £30 on ebay anyway.

Not worth selling, then. Put an extra 0 on the end of that price and I might think about it

Back on topic - might be a stupid question, but is Gamepark planning to release the GP32 in the UK or is this Euro release mainland only?
