Which emulators do satisfy you the most? My personal favorites are (I own my GP32 for only one week now):

1. GP Engine - runs at 60fps with 166MHz at full speed (90% of PC-Engine games working)
2. Castaway - full speed at 166MHz (I do miss fullscreen mode)
3. Little John - runs every (?) game at full speed - very smooth

I'm a bit disappointed by the Genesis- and SuperNES-emus. They either run too slow or not very smooth (not to talk about sound). But I know I "have no right" to be disappointed. The GP32 doesn't seem to be that powerful. Anyway, I have great respect for any of the developers.

Oops, wrong forum, I guess .

Would have to be little john. Every option under the sun.

For castaway, how is that not full screen?! You mean the tiny mini lines on the top and bottom. Runs full speed at 133 for me. Maybe use 156 at the very most. 166 is overkill imo.

fgen32 www.retrodev.info
some games already have sound, activate autoframeskip and 132mhz and your damn fine with phantasy star 4 or streets of rage 2. fullspeed both at fs 1/2 (auto rulz)

maybe hes just a zodiac guy and doesnt actually have a gp32 and wants to test out something here  .. and saying only what he heard.
no offence, just because i also see you on the zodiac boards alucard!

Fgen runs great at 166 w/sound or 133 w/o sound. Try Sonic and Gunstar Heroes on fGen at 166 w/sound it is great. The only down side is that compatibility is not great yet as many games don't work. SNES is a bit slow but it doesn't have the ASM core yet. It is supposed to get updated but I haven't heard anything so who knows when.

Castaway is nearly full screen. The real ST was 320 x 200 and the GP32 is 320 x 240 so it is real close.

Also try DoomII. While not technically an "emulator" it is currently the best version on a handheld. It runs at full resolution and has many WADs available for it .

The older systems run great though.

Also try:

Frodo: C64 games that work run full speed w full sound.
Colem: ColecoVision with near full sound and most games full speed.
Atari800 emu: Great compatibility and also runs Atari5200 stuff.
