My gp32 got 9V for 10 seconds accidentally and now it works but sucks up current like crazy. It now drains batteries too fast, and overheats any power supply connected to it. Has anyone seen this happen or know how to fix it internally (which components to replace) or else how can I dend it back to Gamepark??!!! Is there a solution????

I'm so surprised too. Shouldn't it be protected by fuses or something!!!I can't believe it

From whom did you purchase the GP32?
It was from Lik-Sang one year ago (FLU). I doubt it still has warranty but someone must know how to fix it. Probably just a semi-scorched capacitor, I believe the problem is confined to the gp's power circuitry. I need someone with technical know how to help please

Normally it's the kiss of death if you power it anything over the recommended 3v or 3.5v (i can't remember which one it is as i don't use an AC adapter), so i don't know who can help because usually anyone whos done as you have has broken their gp, you'r lucky it still works.

Also how long are the batteries going for now?

You know how when your batteries are almost dead, and the screen starts to flicker and dim. This happens when you put in fresh batteries. I'm gonna try opening it up and checking for signs of burned components. Anyone know what Gamepark's policy for warranty service?

"Gamepark" and "service" don't belong in the same sentence. I doubt you'll get any help from them.
