Hi!

When i'm playing SNES games in OpSNES i always have this "knocking" noise in the background, is there any fix for this problem?

Any settings I have wrong?

I have a 166 mhz BLU

Thanks

no, that´s common. Its because sound core isn´t finished obviously, so just diable sound. It´ll make games run much faster anyway.

should be in the "I need help" forum btw

snes9x 0.1 dont have it
you can also geta rround it in 0.3/2 by playing arroundin the option, set sound to lowest hz and stuff

Messing with the options doesnt always work. Some days I get CT running perfectly without the sound problem but some days I can mess around for 20 minutes and the sound problem stays. An importanrt thing to remember is if you finally get it working properly save the settings so you know which you were using. Ive saved my settings but the noise still comes back after rebooting the GP and fortunately since I had them saved I jsut change them a few times, eventually ending up with what I saved at sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt.

Usually 11MHz with 16-bit sound works well. If you have problems, set it to 8-bit, then back to 16-bit, and generally screw around with the sound settings, then finally set it back to 11MHz / 16-bit sound. Sometimes that works.

Note that overclocking can screw up the sound because it wants to play at 133MHz.
