My whife keeps asking me about PF, she is getting bored with Pinball Dreams.

So is there any news about releasing PF anytime soon???

I emailed logikstate a few weeks ago but never received an answer. There is also no mention of any gp32 stuff on their site anymore, so it looks like they've cut all gp32 dev completely.

there is a snes version of pinball fantasies. is works perfectly in osnes9x0.3 at 133mhz w/out sound.

Thats pretty cool, I'll check it out when I get home. Though my wife is going
to bust my balls  for PF with sound

hm....that was my question about the word "playable" i asked some days ago.

i think, even on 166MHz it's so choppy, i get a headache while playing it (tried fs=0, 1, and 2).

If my mind doesn`t let me down, all sequels of Pinball Dreams (including Pinball Fantasies) were crap. There were more than enough pinball games on the SNES and PC Engine, so why wait for Pinball Fantasies???

Your mind is letting you down ;). Fantasies was much better than Dreams, but Illusions wasn't quite as good.

All sequels AFTER Pinball Fantasies were crap.

But Logikstate also didn't answer to my eMails - though I got eMails from them last year that it's finished and they just want to wait for the European launch...

Looks like they totally abandoned it (what a shame)

I remember someone saying something a while back about Logikstate being disappointed with the sales of Pinball Dreams, so unless there's a sudden surge in the joyGP figures of PD I doubt we'll see PF :'(

The game is finished and i think it will never be released... Because of Game Park behaviour #again#

While I'm at it.... Any other good pinball games for the gp???

alien crush, devil's crush for PCENGINE.
sonic spinball for megadrive.
there was one kirby pinball game for the GB as well.

but these are all ultra arcade style games where you warp into other tables shoot stuff etc.

i really really wish virtual pinball emulator can be ported (altough the specs. is kinda high for that program to run at pc so i'm not sure about gp maybe wont work at all) it emulates real pinball machines (every single one of them, dating back to 60's flipperless tables)

sigh.
oh yes and i love pinball.

Emulation of the score screen (PinMAME) should be possible as sources are available. But Visual Pinball uses VB-script style tables (i made some crappy ones for fun). I dunno if those can be easily ported.

yeah looking at score screens of pinball games sound fun but lack of a "table" attached to it can make you feel awkward.

for .vpt tables maybe an intrerpreter to display and play the tables from a up and down scrolling view (like in pinball dreams etc) might be interesting.

Actually Pinball Fantasies on the Amiga was way better than Pinball Dreams in all respects. The table Stones and Bones is fab!

TTFN,
