I bought my gp32 off of eaby and it dident come with a usb cord. Can ne1 tell me were i can get one? My next problem is that my 128m smc card decided to nt want to play the games that came with it. And my mp3 player on my free loader just opens for about half a second and my gp32 restarts. Thegame called little wizard under my game section,if you try to load it will just have 2 loading bars then just stop. My super nintendo eulator wont open. Please respond so can start fixing this piece o' sh*t

Oh man, sorry to hear about your troubles.

I forgot my login information to gp32.com and therefore can't download gpinstall.exe, so I used my card reader and just copied all my files from the pc to the smc card. Perhaps if you get a new smc card and try loading some games that way???

Good luck.

Calm down, I know you might be upset right now but the gp32 isn't broken or anything :)

First thing you need to do is properly format the SMC. You can either do this by installing a new firmware that has pacrom built in (multifw2 is my weapon of choice, but others exist) or by using the pclink tool. (But since you don't have a cable, the pclink tool option goes out the window)

Now that you've properly formatted your SMC, most programs WILL RUN, trust me. I've had the same problems as you, programs not running, shit crashing etc. Once I formatted the SMC with pacrom and put everything back with my SMC reader things worked fine again.

I seriously reccomend flashing your firmware anyway, because with pacrom you don't need to use that piece of shit freelauncher. But remember to use FRESH BATTERIES before flashing, because if you cut the power while it's updating your fw you're stuck with a dead gp32.

Also, I'd beat the guy who sold you a gp32 without a USB cable with a stick, or at least get him to send you the cable.

Good luck.
