I've opened this post for people to upload the characters and arenas they've created for this game, so them all will be joined in the same post for more comfort

im wondering if there would be any interest in the following

im quickly running through the mario images , converting them to my fave manga character (SGT Frog AKA Keroro Gunsou) so it will basicly be a mario clone (im also changing the projectile to be SGT Frogs Kero Ball Beam)

the main reason for this is so that it will be easier to see your enemie and see who you are , instead of jumbled up mario clones , and ill also be adding sounds ripped from the anime.

is there any interest in this , im not at college tommorow , and can prolly have it up by the evening (GMT )

Sure this is interesting !! (for me at least :) )

Don't forget to leave feedback about the editors, comments, ideas, bugs...

Thanks !

Im going to be doing Zero from the Megaman X series. iv'e gotten all the sprites i need and got each frame im going to use as an individual bmp. But i need to adjust palette to what was used for the mario character and finish figuring out the editor. When i put my incomplete character on my smc i was able to walk around, but the backround colour of my images didnt appear transparent. I might try to mess around with it some more tomorrow, but ill definately try to get Zero to a playable stage by mid-weekend. I hope to create a decent character, wish me luck! :D

After playing around with paint and a few other progs I can't get the pallete right. Looks like I'm going to have to download Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop and load up the .act file.

Well protoss, this is a palette problem. For now the good palette should be applied to the pictures before you put them into a .pak file, or put the bmps with the good palette on the smc.

The good palette is pal00.pal from smashgp archive.

Also be careful, all pictures should be faced right except for turn around and braking moves.

But I'm trying to add palette conversion to bmp2pak, so the palette shouldn't be a problem anymore. I'll post it when it's ready.

EDIT: Also, please post your problems in the beta testing forum thread. Thanks.
