games from addictinggames.com like slime volleyball and jet slalom...

Slime Volleyball is a clone of the simple yet brilliant Blobby Volley, originally a German game I think. Download it at the Underdogs games site, it's a blast.

great ideas.. game creation apps would be incredibly smart to develop... i want to create soo bad.. and am willing to contribute my graphical talents to any coders in need out there.. :)

for pc
diablo
grim fandango
dark forces
hexen (1 0r 2)

or a tutorial for newbie pc porters... i wanna just dunno where to begin

I'm all for a Dark Forces port if possible!

But the source to Duke Nukem 3D( whatta you mean; it's 2D) has also been released and a port of that should work!

We even have a port of it for Amiga's!!!!

Well, let's hope they will release the source to Shadow Warrior soon too because it was waaaay more fun than Duke Nukem has ever been.

Cyberdogs
Battle Cheese
Tile World (Chip's Challenge clone with source code)

An x86 emulator would be a lot better, then everybody can play the dos games that they want to be ported.

Gnuboy port, sources are out and its allready ported to many platforms
Duke 3D, sources are out also SDL version, and we have now Sdl
x86 with Dos emu, dosbox would be great :)

We really need a dos emulator. Then lots of people can play the games they want ported without having to ask for them to be ported.

hmm warcraft2 clone is/was out :( but blizzard closed the project, but they developer now split the project in parts, one part is a Version that is only working with Warcraft2 data. tat could be portable... but i dont think it is allready out
but you can still find the old version (freecraft) around the net

hmm looking around, if found this, it appears when freecraft was shutdown by blizzard and its based on its sources, dont know much more about it.
try finding out yourself.

Would RPG maker 2K be possible? I think the GP32's 8mb ram would be just sufficient and a 128mb smc could cope with some reasonably sized games.
Not Maker but a simple progjes that load rpgmaker files :) You can build rpg's on the pc and play them on the GP32 :D

DOSBOX has recently been ported to Xbox. I'd like to see the GP32 running it. Though I'm a little suspicious of how well it would run. The Atari ST running in CaSTaway requires maximum power from the unit, I don't think we'll be playing emulated Ultima Underworld 2 (more's the pity) anytime soon.

Elite: The New Kind was ported to GBA (and an infinitely better version than the GP32 version). Can we not have a port of the GBA version? The key (no pun intended) difference between the two is the additional controls. Elite requires the use of about 30 keys. GBA got around that by pressing Select and that brings up a menu of icons for ECM, Energy Bombs, Missile Target/Untarget/Fire, Changing views, Switching to Map, Hyperspace, and all the rest.
