Gentle guidance needed here please. My GP32 wont link i've been told to use the gpdrive but what is it.

well
first of all
have you formatted your gp32 SMCcard?
go through the hacked or non PCLink progie ( found in downloads )
and then format your card
install all drivers ( some people dont need to , but it dont hurt )
then try to link to ur gp32

o, gpdrive is a progie that when started and loaded, not before or it dont work, you then put the USB cable into the gp32 and ur windows computer sees it as removeable sotrage, and you can browse through windows just as if it was any USB storage device
its a lot faster than the PCLink progie, but you need PCLink to put GPDrive on the first time

hope that helps

well, as long as you can put things onto your SMC and run them on the gp32, just get GPdrive out of the beta test forum and put it on ur GP
run it, and when screen stops moving, plug in your gp32 cord ( you dont need any progies running on ur PC ) and it should see it
just remember to hit select when ur done using GPDrive

I may not be understanding all this but I don't think he can transfer files right
now because he can't connect to the PC because his PC_LINK doesn't work. ;)

Just remember that you need to have Windows XP for GPdrive to work, any other operating system might and should be incompatible (I heard of some people getting GPdrive working on Windows 98 and Linux).

a haiku:

Got Gamepark today.
Installed some new firmware, yay!
Now it does not work.

moral? wait.
