This is the pinnacle of coolness.

Well, I got my presents yesterday evening as most do here in Germany. Not many surprises either, I bought most of them myself and got robbed of them when I came home...

The new Aldi PC (featuring a lot of shit nobody really needs but my father thought I should have a new one because I study now)
Lexx Season 3 (that was actually rather hard to get in Germany)
Monstrous Regiment by Terry Pratchett
A "Bernd the Bread" lamp (Bernd das Brot is a manically depressed bread with short arms. Bernd rules.)

I gave my father a CD (Hoobastank - The reason) and my mother got a book about bellydancing. Soem sweets for my grandmother and my grandfather got rum from me. Then I gave two handpainted miniatures to my cousins and... that's it really. I don't really like christmas for the presents, but my grandmother will cook today for us all, best thing about the whole year.

2xDDR pads w/ PC converter. Unfortunately the pads suck ass.

DS w/ Mario DS, awesome game.

PcTv card so I can use the gamecube I got and haven't played. Games: Mario Party 5, Soul Calibur 2, Paper Mario 2, Eternal Darkness. I already have the essentials.

Some alcohol, books and clothes, a giant-ass mug, Simpsons series 3 + 4, assorted crap.

^Yup that. Every episode which has been created or started by spumco.

It's uncut as far as John K could make them. The only remaining cuts are ones which cannot be restored (read: destroyed by nickelodeon.)

Highly recomended.

is aldi crap where you're from?

Not really, though it does have a bad reputation because the prices are pretty low. Aldi does sell stuff from known brands, but the brand names are usually changed - not exactly sure why. The PC is OK, some parts onboard that I would have liked seperate but I can always disable those and use my old ones. I also have a webcam and a TV card from Aldi, haven't had problems with either one.
The Pc has features that I have no idea what I would ever use them for: A SCART connection, a remote control, a keyboard with so many extra keys that you could have made two... what's actually quite funny was the Q&A booklet that came with it.

Q: The frontal FireWire does not work.
A: That is normal. Use the one on the back.

@Klown: is Aqua Teen Hunger Force Vol 3 dvd any good? I've seen so many avatars with that milkshake, now I want to see it. What kind of comedy is it?

Where I live (Britain) Aldi mainly sucks. Lidl is much better for a cheapo supermarket. Aldi can come theough sometimes. But some of its "offers" are quite expensive!
