i just wanted to check if the wince port is still in the works super if it is! i'm not bothered about wen its released just aslong as it is i'm just hoping it hasn't gone inactive thats all ! Its 1 of the things i would just love my gp32 to have

Unfortunately, the project has been dropped, <DarkFader> firefly gave up porting wince according to DF (#gp32dev)

Well, I guess now we know. It would have been an interesting experiment... I was never expecting anything functional, but I was curious (probably just like firefly was) just to see how far it would go. :)

Why do people go so far and then quit?? It looked good from the screen shots.

It was a memory issue, a modern windows run in 8meg of ram? you on crack?

WinCE needed like 32m to work properly.

Then what about the Sega Dreamcast? The dreamcast only had 16mb of main RAM (and some video and audio RAM) and it had games running under WinCE.

PFFT! WINCE needs 32mb of RAM? Comeon!
I have a old ass computer running win98 with 8mb of ram. Is slow but it runs fine atleast!
