i would wish 4 a wma player on my gp32 as i hav 7 gb of mp3's all nicely sorted in media player. + it would be fantastic 2 just drop them into my gp32 through media player. I know theres all this rubbish about it being copyrighted by microsoft but is there no way round it :( :( :( >???>?> i'm also quite ok with the wma codec itself. is this an impossible thing to wish 4 ?

i no ogg is marjinally better its just i want support from windows media player so i can drop it into the gp32 in the copy to device tab. Mainly becuase it has all my playlists which are essential and i cant find a playlist converter i guess i'd b ok if some1 knows of an .wpl to .m3u converter

Thats more of a lesser-minor-semi-quasi wish, bit of a waste of a super-duper wish :( Where you getting those duff genies from? or are you using leprechauns, ok the pot of gold is a bonus but their wish granting skills are total shit ;)

ok, wait a minute...
you want a wma player, that´s windows media audio, right? You need this wma player to play your 7gigs of MP3´s. There are a mp3 player, use that.

If you noticed, he said wma player for GP32
Not for windows...

And if your too lazy to scroll up, here was his exact message..

I think what kraahl was trying to say, is that he mentions he wants a Windows Media Player for the GP32, to play his 7GB of MP3s. I think the main reason he wants it, is to get his playlists working on the GP32, not to play WMAs, as he mentions nothing about them. Correct?

His fault for using shitty Microsoft programs that lock you down to one proprietary format. If you had used a decent player, you'd be using m3u format prolly...

yeah you've pretty much got it i'd change but i cannot find a program to convert my playlists to .m3u if i could find a converter i would have no problem

I doubt your collection is that gigantic and complex that you can't just load them up in some m3u compatible player and create the playlists again?

Wait a minute, your mp3 collection is 7gb? What would to need those playlists for in the first place? Are the playlists short enough you could even FIT their MP3's onto a single SMC?! I somehow doubt it. Which would render them useless even if you converted them to M3U.

Well he might have a playlist which is the songs form a music cd he might have 7gb worth of music but he listens to them by cd record

ok let my explain it this way

He has a playlist called greenday - dookie which only has all the music in the dookie album no other greendays songs then he might have another for Greenday - Warning which only plays the songs from that album ;)
