Yeah I didnt think about the resale value you are right, but as it is a NLU and I don't want to sell it this fix is good for me :p

seems sensible to me

make the hole wider

just needs a few misfits stickers on it... :D

(id do it a bit neater though!)

just get an oversize drill bit and drill it out a little next time!

you are a bastard :(
*Agrees*
How could you do that? The Gp32 is a sacred item... Atleast to me...

Someone should kill this topic, it may cause n00bs to mess up their gp32s...

Got to agree, it looks nasty, and seems real overkill to get something sorted. Couldn't you just have filed the opening a little bigger, or something similar?

Well! It's up to you I suppose :p

Personally i would have used a drill bit on a slow setting to get the job done. The way you've gone about it is just friggin horrible.

I have owned 2 FLUs in the past, and now a BLU, and never had a joystick issue at all. All worked perfectly.

I can't believe you melted your GP32...

jezus next time just throw the damn thing in the micro and nuke it for a min. lol

If it works good but now ur going to have real problems with dust on the screen.

I'm surprised that so many people prefer a gaming console with which you can't play to a true gaming console with a little scratch

You call this little scratch? LITTLE SCRATCH?
Luciano Pavarotti would fit through that hole!

Wow, you guys sure got upset about this. o_O

I see why, because it's kind of a hacky mod, but still, if he wants to screw up his GP32, let him screw it up. It's his fault. :D

But I agree, I've never had a joystick problem. I've had my FLU for... 2 and a half years I believe. The only possible problem is that the up+right diagonal is SLIGHTLY SLIGHTLY SLIGHTLY harder to get to, in comparison to the other diagonals.

Lately, my FLU is kinda scaring me with it's 'dark vertical scanline' thing:
Sometimes one of the vertical scanlines will be slightly darker than the rest... not a HUGE problem, but you kinda notice it when the screen is a solid color. After a few minutes, the problem dissipates, and the screen is fine again. It's only happened twice now, and it was a different scanline each time. I'm pretty sure this is harmless, and I have nothing to worry about.

I have a strong feeling i'm going to end up killing my BLU's thumbstick by playing so much Mario in LittleJohn.
There's been many times where i've rapidly had to move the joystick around whilst playing SMB3.
