Where is it?
It has endless possibilities but there are only a few games, this is the way to compete against nintendo ds and others, we need one good game. A racing or fps game
plz
I donate for it :D

yeti was released and then nothing. AFAIK nothing has ever been released to the public that has used the Yeti Engine.

PS. The GP32 will never compete with DS or PSP or anything else other than maybe the Zodiac. It's a totally different style of system than the normal, "commercialized" systems.

Ok, but still, it's cool to show some nice 3d games at work/school/wherever, unfortunately I can't program but I think it is a sind to leave yeti3d, it has endless possibilties.

he's not specifically speaking about fps. Yeti is more than fps. You could make a really good racer with Yeti.

That's what I meant :)
Just a good racing game, so I don't have to shoot the whole time, quake and doom get boring

yes a racing game would be really great :)

1 question:
how do you programm a game for yeti 3d ?
well im not really expirienced with coding but maybe i could start of with something like that :) if its not too hard :D

i messed around with it when it first came out, i was able to make maps and stuff using the graphics it came out with, what I couldn't figure out though was everything else.

I could walk around and interact, but I couldn't put sprites in to interact or anything else. Also, i never got it working on the GP32, was all done on the pc.

U can not create a game with the Yeti 3D engine that was released. You have to get in touch with the guys that made it and ask them for a dev version. As for the reason there being no games, it says on their site that u have to pay $6000 for the dev version to create a game that is going commercial. Although that has no effect on there being no freeware games i believe they dont really want it to be released to someone who will can the project and shove the dev version on the internet. Im gonna get in touch with them to clear up the whole thing to see if they can give me the dev version to make a freeware game. Ill get back to u all when i get info from them.

can u tell me where i can get it ?
i just want to look in it xD i have really no experience with coding but i just want to look if i can do something nice with it xD
everyone has to start with something .. i just dont want someone to expect something from me

i don't believe the MGS game was used from Yeti but I could be wrong.

when i get home, i'm at work now, i'll see if I still have the original Yeti release on my hardrive somewhere. From what I remember, it worked well, i just couldn't figure out how to load sprites or do simple functions, like open doors or shoot or something. And also, i don't know how it could be converted to run on the GP32, Yeti is used on windows not the GP32. I could make maps and stuff for it so you could at least run around if i knew how to convert it to the GP32.

Yeti 3D is a really neat engine and it can certainly be used for great 3D games. If someone needs it, I can create maps and gfx for it.
