Hi all, I was just wondering whether any of you know of anywhere you can get any furniture good for consoles.

Basically at the moment I have most of my consoles in cuboards and on shelves and then move them out to the the tv for use. This is really annoying - particularly when you just want a quick bash on something arcadey.

I'm looking for something I could have a tv on and then several consoles connected.

Thanks for any help.

if your in the UK, argos do cheap and not too bad looking tv stands that have easily enough room for a good five or so consoles plus a tv.

i have my collection setup on bookshelves with a tv next to one of the book shelves and the other across the room. my tv has the connectors in the front for the newer systems, the video and audio jacks, and i have my atari, old sega, nintendo, snes connectors in the back with an extension cord beside the tv. All power adapters and controllers are in the cabinet under my tv. It's not that bad, i have to take the system off the shelve but everything is right there so it only takes me a few seconds to hook up and start playing. If i had the ability to post pictures i'd post a picture that I have it.

It's good news that the new consoles come with wireless pads as standard.

The gaybird is a godsend.

Wires are the worst things about consoles.

Going to head into argos and take a look tomorrow. :D

Wireless controllers do make things look a whole lot tidier. Have to try and track down some wavebirds.

I have a PS2 to the right of my TV, a saturn on top of that and an N64 on the floor.

I'm currently waiting on Wireless Saturn controllers :).

the good old saturn!
i have my tv on a crappy little stand, and a little coffee table underneath that i drop my systems on(i should get a better setup, but no need till i get a better tv). putting systems on top of a tv would be a good idea, if you have wirelss controllers for it like you guys pointed out.
if only high def tv prices weren't so high :(

I have this thing that is ment to for this thing my DC was in it but it hooked up to my comp now my N64 and GCN are on it right now my SNES is on a box my 2600 is on the floor and my NES is broken-is so its off to the side somewhere......

13 inch tv on dresser thing. ps2 to the right, gamecube stacked on ps2. Dreamcast to the left on a plastic storage thing. Genesis next to dreamcast, Nintendo next to genesis. Gamecube and ps2 games in seperate drawers of the dresser. Nes, Dreamcast and Genesis games in plastic storage thing. Ps2 ready to be swapped out for ps1. Beanbag chair on floor. And my room is Excellent for gaming...Just need to fix/get a new Snes and i can hook that up too! ^_^ Portables off to the side on a shelving unit.... Gp32 kept safely in a drawer...

All I got is a gamecube on a shelve under the TV with my 40 some games on a shelf to the right of the tv.. my 8 or so controllers, memery cards and other stuff in two cuboards under the games shelf and next to the GCN

PS2 (slimline) is in the middle ofthe living room floor, and I have a Spectrum 2+ in 6 broken pieces just beside it along with a Saturn with no top case (for easier disc swapping).

in my room I have a psx and a n64 sitting side by side on the bottom shelf of my tv stand on top of those are my 2 handhelds, my game king is sitting on my psx and the gp32 is sitting on the n64. A dvd and phillips cd burner take up the next shelf. on top of the tv stand is a color apple IIe monitor that I use for a TV, next to it are a speaker on top of a subwoofer. Balanced on top of the speaker/ apple IIe monitor is a snes. to the right of the tv stand is an apple create on which my vcr, reciever, other speaker, and game cube sit. on the right side is another apple create where my NES sits.

and finally 300 miles away at my home when i am not at school is my atari 2600.... I don`t know where that is :p

Apple creates are the Bomb I use 3 of them for a dresser and the two for stands and 2 more for tables. I would get a lot of apple creates and stack them like crazy!
