Hey coders and users out there, anyone knows of (except for !reader for PDFs and something I read about a flash player for linux) something already out or on the way for any of these formats?
I was playing a flash game the other day and I kept wishing i could play it on my GP.
I wish I could code... Gonna start working on learning some programming skills real soon as the laptop comes back from repair!
What d'ya think? What d'ya know? Share your feelings :D

EDIT: BTW any news on that weird format MMF or whatever that was written about in the news a couple of months ago? Are there really games for that, coz I never heard of it :p

Well, someday I might write a PDF viewer, at a cursory glance it'd be pretty simple. I think a minimal PDF viewer would work just by displaying the inline JPG's and rendering the text on top (Freetype would work for that).

So... PDF format docs + libJPG + Freetype + several hours of coding = Minimal PDF viewer

I think a flashplayer would be cool, but I just don't see the point of a PDF viewer or PDF files at all... they do exactly what a bitmap or JPEG will do, but adobe lags my fricken computer(and takes forever to open... no, my computer isn't a slow piece of crap, it's 1.3ghz), and PDF files are always bigger than JPEGs. In some cases, the pdf files only contain text, which makes it even worse... a .txt or .doc would take up like 1 thousandth of the space a .pdf will take up. but hey... if someone really wants one, then go for it.

And if what you're trying to view is multiple pages with pictures, then JPGs won't do because you'd have to go through the menus again, oh and, stop complaining.

Yeah, well you can always convert it to other formats, such as .doc or .rtf or whatever. There are a few programs that to that neatly (it has been discussed here before), however, it would be nice, I guess.
