The Router has an ADSL modem build into it, so plug the DSL line into the RJ11 socket on the back and fire up the web interface. It has a wizzard that should detect all the settings and just prompt you for your username/password. You just need to connect your PC to the router either wirelessly or not...

yes what ratx said is correct. i have the same modem and am getting thatrouter soon and that is what you do. Its best to keep it wired to the closest computer though. As if you lose the wep code if you use that and format your pc etc then you have no way of getting to the web interface to change it so then you would be in trouble. Plus you will need to use it wired probably to enter the details etc....

You dont need the USB modem now. Plug the ADSL into the router and get it connected to your computer via ethernet. Check the manual for the router's IP address (usually 192.168.1.1 or simialr). Type it into your web browser and set inputing details/configure options.

Read up on some articles on Wireless security and if possible keep a computer networked to the router via ethernet.

ok does anyone know how i can find out my ip adress and dns adress?

and what would be my login name if i'm on wannadoo?

The IP address of the router will be detailed in the manual if you mean your DSL IP and DNS addresses they will be provided to you by wannadoo when you connect. You shouldn't need to enter them manually. If you need to verifiy anything just look at the settings you used with the USB modem.

the router is always connected :)

as long as it's set up right

ah. but you have to connect it in the firstplace to be able to have it always connected. so the first time you use it you have to dial up to the network.

so what config do i need for this?
