well, i need to take an lcd off a duff pcb and transfer it to a working pcb, but can't get the ribbon out of the socket. on one of the boards there was a clip that you pulled up, but on the other one the connector is differant. i've tried pusing it about, pulling on the ribbon and other things, but i still can't get it out.

anyone help me out? would love to get this sorted.

thanks in advance.

sound slike one is a blu and one a nlu/flu, they have different connectors, you cant excahnge them. you have to lift the blu conenctor, its a plug.

here's a very blurred pic.

there was some clips on the sides, but i snapped em off by accident...

lcd had *gasp* a scratch  but the main reason is that my flu was knackered and the light guide and lens were covered in dust and scratched to hell. so i just transfered the whole front half of case off the dead one over, soldered the flu onto the motherboard and bing. good as new gp32!
